Collaboration with Made Thought to develop Chandon's new packaging.
We worked closely with the designers at Made Thought to develop the mechanical and visual design of Chandon's new sparkling wine bottle. A series of new label concepts needed evaluation, so we built a verifiable 3D model of the new bottle and used it to render physically accurate visuals. We paid particular attention to accurately representing print processes. The gravure embosses on the cordon, the guilloche pattern in the neck foil and the chisel embossed Chandon logo add contrast and tactility to the designs.
The multiple phase project resulted in an accurate bottle build and visuals that helped prove, sell and authenticate the new design.
We used a combination of technical drawings and real-world samples to build the bottle. We referred to label drawings to make dimensionally accurate 3D virtual copies. Our design development and virtual product photography help clients understand and qualify their designs.
